Need a Room? - Wildlands - Nevada

One ‘source’ calls this impressive old stone ruin a former mine office, another claims it was once a boarding house. A lot of research might prove which is correct, or if neither one was right. In any case, it’s an extremely cool ruin out in the middle of nowhere. Two-story stone ruins are hard to come by, and this one must have been impressive when it was first built. The corner stones were hand cut to create the 90 degree angles for each corner. Several windows and at least one door. I didn’t see any evidence of iron shutters for the door or windows, if it was so-equipped, they’ve been hauled off at some point. And the vegetation was thick! Probably gold lying all over the place that I missed….
