Explore + Photograph = Exploratography
What’s better than getting in the truck and heading out to explore some wild place you’ve never been? Where sometimes a wrong turn takes you to the right place, but sometimes it just adds 150+ miles to your journey. Either way, it’s an adventure and hopefully a learning process. I’ve learned that maps and a compass help, GPS is great, research and pre-planning are key, Google Earth is magic and relationships of trust with fellow explorers is earned.
Exploratography is all about sharing my adventures, both past and future, via my odd prose and many photographs. I’ll share most site locations with like-minded exploratographers, but there are some that I’ll keep under wraps. I also like to share my photos. Please feel free to right click on any of my images and save them for your own personal use. No cost, no charge, no need to ask. If you’d like to use an image for non-personal use (online or printed publication; reference work, blog, calendar, etc.), please use the contact form to drop me a line and we can work it out.
