Prescott Sportsmen Club Ruins - Arizona

After seeing a picture of this stone building during an online “abandoned Arizona” google search, it jumped onto my must visit list very quickly.

What the heck is this place? Well, it has a pretty cool history, click HERE to read about it in depth. A quick review: Built by the WPA during the latter days of the Great Depression, part of some grandiose plans that included a dam, a lake, a sportsmen clubhouse and who knows what all else. Today, awesome photo spot.

Interior view of the Prescott Sportsmen Clubhouse. Multi-room, nice fireplace. Sadly, the clubhouse was never completed. It probably would have been awesome.
